Kathmandu, 30 June

On the occasion of 7th Bagmati River Festival 2007 Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN) organized a plantation program on 30 june. The program was organized at Bagmati Nature Park-Jwagal, Lalitpur. More than 80 individual participated in the program, including BCN representatives, BCN members, NRCT- Megh Ale, and Achyut Dahal and volunteers. Other participants from Central Department of Environment Science, TU, and Alliance for Environment Conservation Nepal, Living Earth, Water and Engergy users' Federation Nepal, Dream Nepal, Kathmandu University, Padma Kanya Campus, Trichandra Campus, NIST College, Ultimate Descents, The Borderlands Resorts, and other individuals took part in the program. More than 300 plants of different species were planted on the occasion.
