Familiarization trip (15-16th February 1997)

Nepal River Conservation Trust organized two day (one night) raft trip in 15-16th February 1997 on the Trishuli River. Large number of organizations and individuals enjoyed two days of exciting white water rafting including one night campaign on a beautiful sandy beach. They were a part of a select of people working in the conservation/development field in the Himalayas. The intention of the unique event was to bring about more awareness as to why we need to start thinking seriously of conserving one of natures blessing to our country-the rivers of Nepal. In between the fun part we introduced our organization, its objectives and mission.
