Since 2001, Nepal River Conservation Trust (NRCT) is organizing Bagmati River Festival, “festival of the 21st Century”. The reason behind the festival is to create awareness and to bring the people close to the river from different walks of life so we understand, know, respect and conserve the river. NRCT have succeeded accomplishing its mission and many people today feel the plight of Bagmati. More than 95 organizations GOs, I/NGOs, CBOs and private sector including individuals have joined our hands in fructifying our objectives. After the long walk of 10 years Bagmati River Festival, we are pleased to share with you all that the Mega Bank has joined hands in Bagmati Jal Jatra. The Bank also has made a long term commitment to continue this festival of our generation.
